How it works?

l E Swedish massage uses oil to prevent friction with the skin. Ideally this oil should be warmed slightly before use. It has active and passive movements. Use various moves and they always are against the movement, in other words towards the heart. This is done to stimulate circulation.

D uring the Swedish massage the person receiving it usually is naked but sometimes if desired you can wear underwear, but the person is always covered with a sheet and only the small area being massaged at that time is exposed.

D uring the Swedish massage may have various combinations of movement therapists also sometimes move their arms, legs or head to move the joints. The following are classic movements of Swedish massage:

1 - Effleurage. These movements are along the direction of the heart. Help calm the body, warm and relax muscles. It also helps distribute the oil in the body for the next moves. With this move the person receiving the massage is familiar with the "touch" massage.
2 - Petrissage. These movements are similar to the pin (as when making tortillas or cakes). This increases circulation and deeply relaxing.

3 - pressure points. This focus on points where there is pain when pressed. Pressing pain indicates stress and tension. Primarily used to press your thumb.
4 - deep friction. They are circular movements that relieve stress.
5 - rollers. The therapist took a small area of \u200b\u200bskin and "poking" smoothly. As skin rolling.
6 - Tapotement (percussion or pat). With the palms of the hands closed and the therapist gently curled pats on the back or other muscle. This helps to energize the body. It is usually near the end of the massage.
7 - fingers brushing. These movements are very soft and are used at the end of a full body massage. The therapist uses the tips of the fingers and slips over the body with a pressure smooth. This helps to calm nerves and relax muscles.

massage may last 30 to 90 minutes.
